Dashing Downstairs
Basement Bar, Lounge and Game Room Designers Cydney Mitchell and Brittany Stafford envisioned a “very moody parlor” in their basement spaces. Dark Venetian plaster walls and stained oak cabinets, brass finishes, Andy Warhol portraits and graphic shapes in black and cream offer a transitional approach to the look of a polo room. The designers created carious seating areas and spaces with views of the golf simulator, pool and shuffleboard tables from Venture Game Tables and a TV hidden behind the smoky bar mirror. The home’s main hue reenters via the verde green galaxy granite countertops and roman shades in artichoke. The round dining table with slim brass banding, a set of four shapely vintage chairs and the Circa Lighting fixtures further link to the architecture and SOURCE’s interior specifications and selections throughout the house. Says Mitchell: “It actually all really did come out the way that we envisioned it, every room” – Lori Johnston
