Where to Play Shuffleboard: Atlanta

shuffleboardbars_story-300x225As part of our many marketing campaigns we’ve decided to compile lists of great places to play Shuffleboard around your neighborhood. Since our move down to Atlanta, Georgia in the summer 2012, we have had a lot of time to explore our new metropolis and discover several exciting places to play shuffleboard, few of which feature tables made by yours truly.

Located in downtown Decatur off East Trinity Place, Twain’s is a fun-filled place that’s open late. An ample amount of billiard and shuffleboard tables and they even have their own in-house brewery, so that’s cool.

Where are all of our EAV friends at! The Glenwood, coincidentally enough located on Glenwood avenue (you really shouldn’t miss it), is a definite must for sports, brews, and (of course) shuffleboard. They have darts too….those are fun!

Tucked away at the corner of Buford Highway and Corporate Boulevard, Zuffy’s place has gone through some heavy facelifts in the past year; match that with a friendly staff (Specifically you, Monty!) and this place can easily become your next favorite hangout.

Where do they get all those wonderful toys? Located in West Midtown, at the bottom of the Westside Provisions District. This two-level restaurant/frat-house boasts some of the most exciting games in town. Bocce ball courts, skeeball, billiards, darts, the list goes on and on. Of course they even have a shuffleboard table (we’d prefer them to have one of ours, but it still works…for now)

This is easily becoming one of our favorite hang out spots, unfortunately their brewery tours are limited to three days a week and not open 24/7 like we hope. As an added bonus, they house one of our custom shuffleboard tables. It’s also a positive that these guys are genuinely the nicest guys you’ll ever meet in their industry, maybe it’s a southern thang, but as a newly appointed Southerner we really appreciate their hospitality.

These are definitely NOT all the places to play in Atlanta, and by all means if you have some other suggestions: comment here, tweet us, post on our wall, whatever form of social media best suits you. In the mean time, enjoy our suggestions and Shuffle On!
